Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the website sreeneelarathitravels.com and to any travel services you book through Sree Neelaratha Travels ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully. By using our website, sending us an enquiry or making a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. About our services

We plan and arrange holiday packages and travel services. Most services (flights, hotels, transport, tours, activities, visas and insurance) are provided by independent third-party suppliers. We act as an intermediary between you and those suppliers, and each supplier's own terms also apply to the service they provide.

2. Using our website

  • You may use the website for lawful purposes only, and must not misuse it, try to gain unauthorised access, or send spam or false enquiries through our forms.
  • All content on the website, including text, photographs, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without our written permission.
  • We try to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date, but it may contain errors or become out of date. Photographs are for illustration and may differ from what you experience.
  • Our website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or policies.

3. Enquiries, prices and quotations

  • Prices shown on the website are per person, are only a guide, and depend on travel dates, availability, hotel category, group size and exchange rates.
  • A price becomes final only when we confirm it to you in writing. Quotations are valid for [number] days unless we say otherwise.
  • Sending an enquiry does not create a booking.

4. Booking and payment

  • Your booking is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation after receiving the advance payment of [amount or percentage].
  • The balance must be paid at least [number] days before departure. If payment is not received on time, we may cancel the booking and the cancellation charges below will apply.
  • Accepted payment methods: [for example bank transfer, UPI, card].
  • Taxes and charges that apply under Indian law will be shown in your quotation or invoice.
  • Please check the confirmation carefully, including names (which must match your passport or ID), dates and services, and tell us at once about any mistake.

5. Your responsibilities as a traveller

  • Make sure you have a valid passport, visas, permits and any health certificates needed for every country on your trip. We can help with visas, but approval is decided by the authorities and not by us.
  • Give us accurate information about all travellers, including any medical, dietary or mobility needs.
  • We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation and baggage.
  • Follow local laws, safety instructions from guides and suppliers, and the rules of hotels and transport providers. We may end a traveller's participation, without refund, if their behaviour puts others at risk.

6. Cancellations and refunds

If you cancel, you must tell us in writing (email or message). The date we receive your request is the cancellation date. The charges below apply to the total package cost, and suppliers' own non-refundable charges (for example airline tickets, visa fees and some hotel bookings) will also be deducted.

When you cancel Cancellation charge
[more than 30 days] before departure [__]%
[15 to 30 days] before departure [__]%
[7 to 14 days] before departure [__]%
[less than 7 days] before departure or no-show [__]%

Refunds, where due, will be made to the original payment method within [number] working days after we receive the amount from our suppliers. Unused services during a trip are not refundable.

7. Changes to your trip

  • By you: if you ask to change dates, hotels or services after booking, we will try to help, but it depends on availability, and extra charges may apply.
  • By us or our suppliers: itineraries, hotels, flights and timings can change because of weather, flight schedules, strikes, road closures, safety concerns or other reasons outside our control. We will offer a suitable alternative of similar standard where we can. If a change is significant and no suitable alternative is possible, we will tell you and discuss a refund of the affected part.

8. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays, changes or cancellations caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, war, riots, strikes, government orders, airspace or border closures, and technical failures of transport. Extra costs resulting from such events, for example additional accommodation, meals or transport, are to be paid by the traveller unless the supplier or your insurance covers them.

9. Our liability

  • As we arrange services provided by independent suppliers, we are not liable for their acts, errors or omissions, or for loss, damage, injury, illness, delay or inconvenience caused by them, to the extent permitted by law.
  • Adventure and water activities, trekking, safaris and similar activities carry risks. You take part at your own risk and should follow the instructions of the operators.
  • We are not responsible for loss or theft of baggage, documents, money or valuables. Please keep them with you and insured.
  • Where we are found responsible for a problem with a service we arranged, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that service, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Complaints

If something goes wrong during your trip, please tell us and the supplier straight away so we can try to fix it on the spot. For any complaint after the trip, write to us within [number] days of your return with your booking details, and we will look into it and reply.

11. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its "last updated" date, is the one that applies. A booking is governed by the terms that were in force on the date of your booking confirmation.
